Plugin that revolutionizes the way premium themes are build

Posted by R.Bhavesh

Remix Editor - the revolutionary pluginIt has been long since I actively posted something in here. But I have been super busy building a plugin that will boost the way the premium themes are being built! Specially for the WP Remix kind of themes which are built with the aim to use WordPress as CMS, where the real strength of the theme lies on the wordpress custom page templates.

However, the biggest barrier I faced to make this dream come true, is to make the theme custom templates to be editable via wordpress editor from where the user writes posts and pages. One way was to create custom fields but that would again make the novice user confused and and it would be too complex for them. Again, wp-editor would not allow insertion of dynamic PHP codes and nor it allows xhtml codes.

Finally, I built the REMIX EDITOR PLUGIN that would solve all these problems and would help using WordPress as CMS in true meaning. I officially announced the plugin at WP Remix website. Go, check yourself!

Hi There - thanks for this, I can’t tell you how useful it will be :)

I am having a small problem activating the plugin as it is telling me to select WP Remix as the theme. I already have this theme activated and called ‘WP Remix’, but still no activation. :( It could well be me, but I thought I would ask just in case it isn’t.

Any ideas?

Thanks so much - Mark

PS - have written to you separately, but have posted this comment so if there is a solution to be had, you can post it here for others to find.

Rest assured the plugin is secure and safe, and it does not have any errors. This is happening because the plugin could not access some files due to permission reasons.

Solution:
I suggest you to give 777 permission to your wordpress folder (particularly files and subdirectories in “wp-includes” and “wp-content/themes” directory). Fore more information on how to give permissions, check here http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/ftp/

Once this is DONE…. You are ready for the WP-Remix Experience….

Have a nice day.

I guess!
If on it is not giving any Fatal Errors or Warnings() and Just gives an Initialization Error and ask you to use WP Remix theme.

There is no problem with the Host or Permission issue, though it seems to be.

Try to check if the Author URI is http://www.cssace.com
